ANTRUM has access to a complete range of high quality indoor antenna testing facilities.These include a near field (cylindrical/spherical) antenna range, anechoic chamber and measurement equipment suitable for the measurement and assessment of all VHF/UHF, GSM, PCN, UMTS and satellite bands.
Material Assessment
ANTRUM can perform free space material characterization up to 50 GHz.
Design and Development
ANTRUM, working in conjunction with the research staff of Loughborough University's Wireless Communications Research (WiCR) group is able to apply leading innovation in the field of antenna design so as to meet customer’s unique requirements.
ANTRUM has long experience in adapting common antenna designs into small footprint antennas. These are designed to be hidden or to blend naturally into their surroundings whilst at the same time meeting electromagnetic radiation limits.
What products are we developing? Antrum is developing a range of electrically small footprint antennas that are designed to be hidden or to blend naturally into their surroundings.
What applications are these aimed at? Initially the antennas are aimed at TV/DTV, DVDT reception and cellular base station applications for GSM, PCN and UMTS.
Why are Stealthy antennas so important? There is a growing need for low visibility antennas for use in office and commercial environments.
